Accommodations in Yelapa
We’d love for our guests to stay in Yelapa on Friday and Saturday
If you're coming to the sunset boat party on Friday, we highly recommend staying in Yelapa that night so you can fully enjoy the party without worrying about getting back to Puerto Vallarta.
If you're only coming for the wedding on Saturday, we suggest staying the night since late-night water taxis back to Puerto Vallarta may not be available after the wedding.
Water Taxis
Since Yelapa is only accessible by boat, guests will need to take a water taxi from Puerto Mágico. The cost is approximately 550 pesos per person, round trip. More details and timing will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Feel free to reach out with any travel-related questions—we’re happy to assist!

What to Do
Activities in Yelapa
Yelapa is a hidden gem, a car-free fishing village tucked between the jungle and the sea. It’s the perfect place to slow down, explore nature, and enjoy the beauty of the coast.
Eat & Drink
We love Los Abuelos and Sirena Morena for delicious seafood in a laid-back setting, and El Manguito is a great stop near the waterfall if you're out exploring.
Yelapa Yacht Club is right on the beach, perfect for a casual drink or bite by the water.
And keep an eye out for the ladies walking the beach selling homemade pie, it's a Yelapa tradition and 100% worth it.
Play
Swim or snorkel in the calm waters of the bay, rent a kayak or paddleboard, or just relax on the beach with a good book. For something a little more adventurous, join a paragliding ride over the ocean or take a guided boat tour around the coastline
Explore
Hike to Cascada de Yelapa, the town’s scenic waterfall just a short walk from the beach, or venture deeper into the jungle to discover more hidden spots. Stroll through the town’s winding paths, browse local artisan shops, visit the small Yelapa Museum to learn about the town’s history, and experience the slow, peaceful rhythm that makes Yelapa so special.
